Recruitment Manager - Shared Services

We have established a key hub at our new location, Penang Services Building (or PSB) to develop, deploy, and support Enterprise IT systems and services.

Its shared services center will be providing Jabil's most critical IT needs for more than 55 locations worldwide.

We are seeking motivated IT and SCM professionals to help build our growing team at PSB.

Recruitment Manager - Shared Services
(Penang - Bayan Lepas)

Responsibilities:
  • Leads and develops a group of Employment/Recruiting Representatives to ensure excellence in the area of researching, recruiting and selection for Corp IT, Finance and SCM group.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Provides policy guidance and standards of achievement to management concerning diversity initiatives.
  • Acts as a Strategic Partner with Department Managers in conducting needs analysis.
  • Recruits, screens, and interviews internal and external applicants to fill current or expected job vacancies.
  • Manages all aspects of the employee relocation process to control costs to the organization.
  • Ensures a consistent and fair policy with all search firms with respect to submission of resumes and fees.
  • Plans and co-ordinates job fairs / events to ensure the best value for company.
  • Understands and accurately communicates the basic components of compensation and other benefits.
  • Deal with management and employees on a day-to-day basis to prevent and solve employee problems.
  • Compiles statistical reports for department (i.e. costs per hire, turnover, recruiting efficiency, hire ratios, response rates, referral factors, etc.).
  • Responsible for plant wide manpower planning - to work closely with all departments on their manpower needs.
  • Formulate sound and acceptable Recruitment policies and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency in all levels of hiring.
  • Oversee the recruitment of foreign employees.

Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Studies or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in Hiring / Staffing - Significant previous business experience of 6 years or more (Preferably 5 years in a Specialist role and at least 1 years experience in a Generalist role) especially in IT, Finance and SCM group.
  • Corporate / Regional experience and exposure is an added advantage.
  • Fundamental knowledge of all local, state and national employment legislation.
  • A combination of experience and education is permitted.
