R & D Executive

Responsibilities:
 
  • Assist in the research of functional ingredients to implement designated new products.
 
  • Coordinate and facilitate plant trials and new product start ups with, production / operation, and co-packers.
 
  • Manage and oversee some department functions ( e.g., sensory program, shelf life testing, label legal claims, product specifications, product/packaging improvements, nutritional labeling ).
 
  • Support department efforts focusing on oils and fats by providing expertise in the areas of food chemistry, and ingredient functions namely in bakery and cookery.
 
  • Competencies in the test kitchen concept of R&D as a test baker for product development projects assigned as primary responsibilities.
 
  • To oversee the production and quality control process of OEM products.
 
  • As an Internal auditor for ISO and HACCP system.
 
  • Monthly FAME ( fatty acid methyl ester ) preparation and FAC ( fatty acid composition )analysis, through gas chromatograph.
 
  • Assist in QA department functions.
 
  • Other projects which deemed necessary for process improvement / plant improvement.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Food Science, or equivalent.
 
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
 
 
  • Those with working experience in the Oils & Fats industry will be given advantage.
 
  • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Food Technology.
